This sustainable housing prototype attempts to address issues such as life in an urban setting, privacy, cross ventilation, solar exposure and access to the outdoors. Within the internal courtyard of this housing prototype, the building façade attempts to recede away from the public spaces they conceal. This stepping back approach provides maximum solar exposure on the ground plane, while providing a series of rooftop terraces for each unit, creating a sense of privacy without isolation.

Dual frontage, interlocking and split level units allow for less area used for circulation, while providing cross ventilation and a loft like housing experience. Street side entries, playful rhythm and scale create a diverse pedestrian experience and a positive space for a comfortable community.
